Hell yes! That movie kept Chrysler in business! Actually most of the cop cars were recently retired CHP units, from when the smaller body style came out.
Those old Royal Monaco's were huge! Bigger than Burbs! Needed at least a 400 to be able to move at all. Used to know a guy who was in LAPD in the 70s. He liked the big Dodges with the 440, they were very stable at high speed.
