Stripped oil pan threads... Would rather install some kind of ball valve anyway.

I’ve used a Fumoto drain valve on a few of my vehicles in the past without any issues. All of these cars were pretty much slammed to the ground and I’ve never encountered any problems or leakage. The valve also come with a locking plastic tab to prevent the valve from opening. Additionally, the mechanism is also spring loaded to essentially lock the valve in the close position.
