what is everyone’s opinion on steering stabilizers? Pros, cons, did you notice ant difference after installing one?

Mine is stock, and I don't think I've driven without it.... but it's probably bad since it's a cheapy. Only 1 or two companies seem to make a replacement for the OEM stabilizer, that I've seen.

I put on a rough country stabilizer because the bump steer was bad. It really made it better, now only big bumps yield any bump steer, and it is much smoother.

When I rebuilt my front end, I added an aftermarket one and noticed that it doesn't return to straight as easily as before after turning a corner. But it definitely doesn't shake the steering wheel at all when hitting potholes anymore.

Thanks guys. My truck doesn’t have one so I’m considering getting one. I appreciate all your input.
