weird thing is both proforged were coated in black....unlike the pictures....
both sealed factory proforged boxes ...one directly from Holley....

I'd definitely be ok with that since I plan to rebuild my original box one day... Then I'll have a couple of spare arms ready to go....
we'll see...

Well, I may have tossed the pitman arms in my last blind rage throw away session. I do feel like they would have been subject to my wrath but I'm not totally convinced. I do remember some parts being part of that session. Dang...I still have 10% hope they're somewhere other than the normal places so will look again.... "every time I throw something out".... Is there no end to it??
Still have my old box of course....jeez...

Idk...just looked again...almost went into another throw away spree ..
My wife is going through a box now...lol I'm sure everything in it will end up back in the living space....
Who am I to say my old control arms are more important than whatever tchotchke ...I'd rather have all the storage space anyhow...

Wow, that's not good! Did you return the second one or not worth the trouble?

They wouldn't respond to me. Even sent the video link.....
They did initially send the second and didn't ask for me to return the first.....
to be fair, I had installed the Moog after the first Proforged didn't work out, so the Moog was installed for a bit over a year before I even tried the second one they had sent me at that initial time and complaint to them. Still would have expected a response of some sorts. I wasn't asking for a return.
Even when the first one didn't work out, I was on the phone with tech support, they asked for pictures,etc and didn't have any answer. So they sent another. You'd think they would have asked what box I was using but I guess it's the wild west when dealing with our old trucks.
I went through 3 aftermarket driveshafts fro Oreilly's because none of them fit right. Finally gave up and went to my driveline shop and the aftermarket one they ordered me fit perfect... Sometimes I think we're the quality control and companies just throw stuff out to see if it'll stick.....

I would buy as many Mevotech TTX parts available. Take a look at ProForged Idler and Pitman.

I did see the TTX tie rods, they look pretty beefy. Is there a matching heavy duty sleeve that goes with them?
