Speaker recommendations

Now that the lift is on, i think its time to get the stereo sorted. The previous owner removed all the speakers and decided to wire in two boxed 6x9s behind the seat. Id be looking to do dash speakers again along with some for the c pillars and possibly a small 10 inch sub for behind the seat for a bit of bass.

What sort of speakers are you guys running?

I have Alpine 6.5" Type Rs in the front doors and 4" Type S for the rear pillars and a 12" sub. The Type Rs are noticeably better, but the Type S is still pretty good if you are on a budget.

I have a Type S 12" sub under the back seat in a sealed box and its plenty for a truck cab. Sometimes it's too much depending on the song.

What sort of speakers are you guys running

I have Alpine SPE-6000 door and Alpine SPE-6090 in the back. Not overly impressed by the sound so I will be changing it soon with some Alpine S2-S40C which we added to my sons 55 chevy truck and it sounds amazing.

I looked into these I heard they sound good I know in time I’m going to buy them and put them in my truck instead of the Kenwoods I have.
