Houston, Texas area, SW Houston LKQ pick a part,on Hiram Clarke just south of US 90A/South Main, has a 92 Blazer 2 door in their truck section. No idea how it got there, it's not wrecked and the motor/trans/T case seem to be there ( a few things missing from the 350 and under the hood.).
Tailgate/liftglass model, those are good as are the side glass panels. Body is in good shape, missing front bumper and grille.
Somebody needs to get this truck outta there!

Local junkyard had a Blazer in red, 93 with 150k miles a few months back. Tried to buy it for $1500 but got denied. Next time ill ask if i can drive the forklift and pay for the body, frame, bit and piece on it. The junkyard infuriates me sometimes, but sometimes its the best

Back in the day, you could buy a complete,or mostly complete, vehicle out of a wrecking yard in Texas. I know several people who did, including my Dad( one of his 57s came from a yard in central Texas). But not sure about how it is now.
Probably if someone went in there, waving enough $$$ around the right person, it could be done. Just a shame to see such a clean and rare truck behind the fence....

My K3500 is a salvage yard sale, that being said; it would take an absolute honey of a truck for me to go through this again.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I saved it, but it's been a bit of a pain getting stuff like the title and little knick-knack stuff like bolts and fuses that were taken off it sorted out.
