Ok I’ve got a solid axle swap 96 k2500 it’s off 79 f250 Dana 44 I wrecked into a car and at first I didn’t notice but the driver rear leaf spring shackle is bent up and twisted it pushed the frame in ware it mounts also the driver side tire looks to be pushed back 2 inches and the passenger side forward now no tie rods bent and I noticed the driver side tire is turned out a little while the passenger side is straight can a axle move that far or twist? It seems to be straight on the perches and u bolts not bent any help or advice would be great

Not trying to be a dick either but didn't you post a run on sentence about this a couple weeks ago?

None of what you asked about the axle can be determined from the pictures of the leaf spring mounting brackets. But yeah fromthe pitchers thatcobbledtogethermess isall bentup and thespringeyeisruined.

The bracket did not bend the the frame is boxed in from rear of leaf to front it bent the frame not the bracket and the wheel seems to be pushed back on impact side and forward on other but the leafs seem straight I know the pics aren’t good I’ll try to get other ones sorry I’m just really worried and not sure I can fix on my own

what about the front of the spring? If that gets whacked, that will move the axle back. Again, those brackets are scary. I can't figure out what's going on with those things....

1. This looks like somebody's sloppy mistake in a cut to the rail.
2. This looks like a crack.

You also need to realize this bracket it twisted and otherwise fubared out of alignment with the spring.

You start by measuring the truck frame to make sure it's not bent, then measure the suspension mounting points to make those are square to the frame, Then you can begin to diagnose suspesion/differential problems. Measuring the tires to the spring pack means nothing at this point and the one spring the eye has been bent open so it's trash.
