What happens if you dont use a sealer after your primer? and just skip right to clear?

it wouldnt be as bad as leaving it primer, primer soaks up moisture. why are u wanting to clear primer

no need to clear primer..... Think my bed has been in primer for over a year. .........I dont ever forsee and rust issues with my bed it only has prob 8/12 coats
