I don't think this is related to my previous problem, (leak in torque converter), or the problem after that, (I mis-assembled the band while hunting for former leak).

I did get to drive it for about 3 days, then it drops dead about a 1/2 mile from my house. At this rate I'm spending 50~60 bucks per mile in repairs.

Anywho, any ideas on where to get a new front pump? It ate one of the housings.

Oooh, forgot to mention, 1993 truck. 4l60E.

most likely TC not installed properly or to much "TC pull out". you need to shim the TC if there is more than 3/16" gap between the flywheel mounting pad and the TC. I like to shim them around 1/8" clearance.

Long story short, It runs again. I bought an amazon front pump, cause I'm freaking tired of working on it.

Fwiw, the gap was right about 3/16"

Then on the maiden cruise, the DS front lugnuts backed off and I threw two of them out into the wild blue yonder. I'm so over this ****.
