I'm Awesome
I've recovered a few GMT800 seats, and have received leather samples from a couple of suppliers, and all of the leathers have a tooth to them that makes them grab too much and they have a satin look instead of the somewhat shiny look of the originals.
I want leather that is fairly slick and easy to slide into like the stock material. I don't have much hope on getting covers made out of a buffed and polished leather, but might be able to apply polish or wax to the available covers to make that happen. The friction is more of an issue for me than the look, but the two go hand and hand.
Has anyone used any products to shine up the modern satin leather seat covers?
