My signal light lever will not stay engaged while turning. I have to hold it in place to get it to flash. Its a 94 2500. Do I just need just a switch or do I have to buy the turn signal lever assembly? Thanks

I sounds like you just need something like this. The plastic part maintains and releases you turn signal stalk. YMMV

Any resolution on this?
I replaced this part and am still having a problem with pressing the stalk downward to hold the LEFT signal, it takes four fingers to click it in place. RIGHT signal action works nice and easy.
More info: also replaced the whole turn signal stalk to get cruise control to work again miraculously. Only use OEM parts for situations like this.
