Does anyone here have the pdf version of the service manual for a 96 sierra? I looked at websites online, but they look really sketchy.

They are in a sticky at the top of the engine performance section, 4 down.

There may be some differences between the GMC manual and the Chevy manual for the same body style...but the differences would be fairly minor in most cases.

I have a buddy with a '93 or '94 GMC "S-10" 4.3L V-6. The GMCs got a prehistoric spider injection (batch-fire, not individual fire like the '96-newer spiders) while the Chevys got TBI. So there can be differences.
