Anyone in here cut their factory coil buckets out and made frame straight like a 4wd? Doing a SAS and not using leaf springs for front or rear, doing coilovers. 2005+ f250 axles front and rear. And most likely going with PSC full hydraulic steering. And any issues with the bulk of frame under motor? Thought yall might like my tool cabinet i burned so i added few pics of it. Thanks

I used leaf springs but wanted to share the clearance I needed to get the axle to travel fully when modding a 2wd.
There are a few on here that used the coil buckets but I wasn’t interested in doing it. I prefer a coil over setup if going that route. Leafs flex pretty well and act decent enough on road without the headache of dialing in all the geometry of coils. Good luck with the project.

Well mine doesn’t but I didn’t lift it much with springs. Depending on tire size you want to run. I used 2.5” springs up front and used shackle flip in rear with zero rate inch. Clear 35s easy with full travel everywhere lock to lock. Little trimming should do 37s. Still fits in the standard garage and rides good enough with no sway bars.
I had to get custom driveshafts made so keep that in the budget. It’s under pig pen on the forum. If ya need anything let me know I’ll try to help or fire ya a link or two.
