Have a 88 K2500 I'm chassis swapping and trying to figure out what my truck came with stock. Found a document online from 88 that shows the codes for each option like I ordered from the dealership in '88. Trying to figure out paint codes but the ones on the sheet aren't matching to the sticker. Is there a way or some image that states the last section of code?

WACC WA- L8624 U6832 A5TRP 78C
(Believed this truck was custom ordered, I'm 1,000miles from the stated original owner who sold it 20 years ago)
What is recommended to clean the sticker / have a reprint made?

There's another RPO plate on the left side fire wall used during assembly on the line. Look there and convert it to the correct code. I made a quick search but, couldn't readily find it. We had a discussion about this about 4 or 5 years ago but, I don't remember which thread it was - I've slept a night or 2 since then. I do remember they used 2 different sets of codes, one for the SPID sticker and one for this plate, HTH.

The L and U are your paint codes. 8624 is white, are you sure the other is 6832? Maybe 8832 for red?

The 78C should be interior trim color - garnet red cloth I believe

The A5TRP beats me. Some SPID labels have codes like that but I don't know what they represent. Others don't have it at all.

With the red interior the truck it's likely CC1/CC2 - 50/70, White (Summit)/Flame Red. The 5TRP should be STRP (Stripe), Vermillion /Silver with this two tone package.

This is from the 88 service manual. Maybe this helps. The service manual points out different paint types depending manufacturers.

I feel like OP's truck is the same scheme as one of my very early parts trucks, a couple years before I opened my shop. Pics are from 2006, I'm already fully into disassembly on this sucker.

Red/white two-tone, garnet red cloth interior, 1988 C2500LD ECLB. Y'all will note the 6 lug 9.5" 14 bolt SF was quick to go. ;)

"With the red interior the truck it's likely CC1/CC2 - 50/70, White (Summit)/Flame Red. I was told it was a 2 tone red truck so the above would look right. Repainted years ago, i'll see if the white is still under the repaint when I do the body work to the cab end of summer

Appreciate the help!
