Remove paint on window molding?

My truck was repainted sometime in its life. The paint looks fantastic. The only way I can tell its a repaint is there’s paint on the rear window molding. Looks like it wasn’t masked good enough. What is the best way to remove it from the molding without affecting the paint? Im thinking of maybe even putting a new rear window in eventually. I'm afraid it might mess up the paint when the molding is removed or if i try to remove the paint, since it’s continuous paint from the body and overtop the molding.
