Reinforce dashboard?

any chance anyone could tell me what will fit my dash now? any 2000 chevy dash? or what

Is that the one right next to the driver vent? If so, it’s probably what caused the crack since the dash shell is poorly reinforced at that location. The clip expands the dash plastic, causing it to crack.

I doubt a dash cover would give the bezel anything to clip to.

Best fix is a new dash. Otherwise, maybe some type of thin fiberglass patch and cover it with an overlay. Not sure how you would reconstruct the clip anchor point.

A 1997-2000 would fit, but there may be a few 2500 or 3500s that were still made in 2001 I think.

A 95-96 would fit, but the air supply duct is different so you’d need to grab that.

1996 to 1998 dash will fit. This will be a direct replacement. Your truck is a GMT400. These trucks were built from 1988 to 1998, and in 1999 as a classic, but the 3/4 tons, the 1 tons, and crew cabs were GMT400 through 2000. Also the Suburbans and Tohes through 2000. When you need parts, you have to ask for 1998.
