Redid My Stock 3/4 Ton wheels

My truck is the Cheyenne model, center caps are original black plastic. It was a W/T with the gray grill, chrome front bumper without the impact strip. Looked ugly and uncoordinated.
Now it's got a black grill, black painted bumper, black wheels, that match the black mirrors and door handles. Uniform color scheme. Not to mention the 35"s and 2wd lift kit.

Did you strip off the door emblems?

I didnt strip the emblems but the entire truck was debadged before i had it. missing 2500 badges and silverado badges. All of the trim that went across the lower part of the truck is gone as well. most of the lower half was repainted with black spray paint so i imagine that’s why they were removed. the paint is pretty rough on the truck.

When I reglued the trim strips on the Burb's front bumper on memorial day weekend '20, I decided to clean the bumpers and grille while I was messing with it. I used Brasso liquid with an old T shirt, and it worked very well even on the plastic chromed parts. Those were still shiny when I took it to the shop on November 7. I think they were original parts....

Got a black painted set with black plastic centercaps, 4x4 logo. Too bad you're on the other side o' the country. They're just sitting in my garage talking up space.

Yeah i just sprayed them with gloss black 1-3 coats depending on how much time u got. I do it to all my GM wheels with lug nut covers. Did it to my ‘01 Blazer and my ‘91 camaro. Holds up pretty good to sun.
