Some sexy TIG welding. When I do my 4 links I’m happy with a 1/4” of “variation” lol.
your **** is precise by the looks of it. And with steel that clean I might have been tempted to TIG weld as well.

Thanks. I'm typically trying to hold around 1/16" true position, which is pretty difficult to measure and maintain. So far everything measures out very well. I am pleased

I plan on going 160+ mph in this thing so I kinda want it true lol

All burned in.

1-5/8" chromoly, 3/16" plate.

Lighter than youd think

Making progress. For you guys out there running 3 link setups, are you running offset or centered? Anyone try both types?

For the guys running an offset upper, do you notice any weird chassis dynamics when transitioning from throttle to hard braking?

I have no experience, but your question got me thinking and googling. Found this:
https://www.pro-touring.com/threads/83828-3rd-link-offset

My takeaway is that you'll need beefier rod ends with an offset 3rd, and the longer side would be less responsive to braking and acceleration inputs.

I daily an '06 Mustang GT, and I don't know if my upper link is centered or not. I do know a lot of guys spend over a grand throwing away the panhard bar for a Watt's link when 95% of them can't tell the difference in how it drives. I've autocrossed mine and the panhard's not what's keeping me from being faster through the cones.

Ive been lacking on updates but not on progress. Frame side of the 3 link is coming along.

-3 Link mount bar risers welded and installed (3/16" plate)
-3 Upper Bar mount installed
-3 link upper bar supports welded in
-Panhard mounting bar bent and installed
-Cut out and bent the mounts up for the panhard bar. Hope to weld them up before the end of the week.
