RCLB K2500, K3500 Differences?

Both are 454s so full floater rears. I can take a pic of the rear in the 2500. I have pics on my phone of putting a 15" rim on , and only way it fits is with a spacer for the 3500

I wonder if slip on drums vs non affect this.

No smaller drums, 8 luggers all got the 13" drums. Duallies got the wider brake shoes with larger calipers and wheel cylinders, but that's all I'm aware of. They also added a single upper overload leaf, but the singles all got the 5+1 2500 and 3500 alike. 3500 did get the BW t-case that the 2500 did not.

SRW can have the 3.5" shoes as well. RPO JB8, changed slightly between SRW and DRW, but both got the 3.5" shoes.

There are two center bore sizes, and I don't know which is which.

The 2500 doesn't have slip on drums, and the 3500 didn't either. I did have a full float that was slip on drums, don't know what year it was but early 90s IIRC. I have a van 14FF, that has slip on drums from an 02 1 ton.

I wonder if the hubs are different between the K2500 and the K3500s. Kinda like the square trucks had different spring perch width, the 1 tons got a narrower spring mount so duals will clear. IIRC, a SRW and a C&C rear are the same width, but uses different hubs n backing plates to bring the wheels in closer to the frame. I have pics of both trucks with the 15" wheel, post em in a minute, they on my phone...
