So glad I checked the forum before I bought anything! Just placed my order! This is much better than the rag joint. My 89 K2500 (7200gvw) truck has 494,000 miles on it. 3rd engine and 3rd trans. But it always gets what it needs.

Got the shaft today. Looks awesome. Great shipping (KY => FL)! I'll post pics when I have it in.

Wow it was easy to install. 2 bolts to remove the old shaft then tighten up 2 set screws per universal plus the lock nuts.

While I was at it I threw in some Moog HD camber kits. This truck never got them.

Installed the lower shaft on my 98 Silverado 1500 today. Out of the box I could tell it was a quality machined piece and it only took me about 40 minutes to install.

I'm installing all new Mevotech components in the front suspension next week but this steering shaft from Cunningham Machine has already eliminated 90% of the "wander".

Shumachermetalworks.com makes one and states there is 4130 material, what is the CH made from
