I did a four link in the rear on bags too...
so it’s a little different.
She’s also a divorced NP205
But I just scored the pass drop np241
I might put that in there. Building the LS 383 wanna slap the nv4500 in there as well.

Precision Fab plus is in the process of making a kit for this axle for gmt400s. Honestly I'd just hold out and scoop their kit when it comes out. It will take some Fab tho either way I'd imagine, but it'd be nice to have the brackets and all.

I don’t see them making it for the 2wd frame!
I made mine so that I COULD remove the whole assembly in one shot .
Guess that’s worth mentioning.

I'd like some more info on Mr Eskimos truck as well. How much of the frame had to be hacked off, what coil springs got used, how high it sits stuff like that. Super interested

No frame for cut on mine!
I used springs from a ford (I know fords yuck)
Econoline.
You can use different springs for different heights.
I went on Moog and looked up spring rates and compressed heights.
Took a few measurements. Came up with what I wanted collapsed.
Went a little under so I could “shim it up” if I needed.

That’s it kinda tacked for stance checking reasons those are NOT the springs I’m using but the factory c1500 ones (too stiff)

Right on. Good pics man.

The lower control arm mounts from the 2wd got cut off and some of the underside of the center crossmember correct? Or is alot of that still there?

Thanks for replying back. Looks good
