Rack and pinion steering

Can a swap be done on a 1997 4wd Chevy Tahoe. I have 32 inch tires that have changed steering characteristics. and new front end parts and a single shock stabilizer .Still a real job to drive when going over bumps or hitting puddles etc.
Any other suggestion ?

Look up elevated concepts. He's engineered a rack and pinion for GMT400's and sells it as a kit.

No prob, you might have to call them up though, I just realized yours is a 4wd - all his stuff is for 2wd so his kit probably won’t work.

The geometry looks funky and it has hiem joints instead of a sealed tie rod ends. No Bueno IMO.
