Question on Drop hangers and shackles

Can you install a drop hanger and shackle but set the shackle to 1" of drop (for a total of 3" rear drop)? And can you do the same but with a factory shackle (only having a drop hanger)?

Drop Shackles for these trucks are set up for a two inch drop. Non adjustable.

Well, that’s the way my shackles are made.

You can buy 1-2" inch shackles and set them on the notch on the bottom, that would be 1"

Nice ... shows how long it’s been since I’ve bought GMT400 parts ... lol
