And did I read that right, you have a block thats bored .080 over? And it needed to get re-ringed? If so, did you use a dingle-ball hone or a flat stone hone?

Pretty sure that would be a 1980 block.

I'm not so sure. Sounds like rocker end. It's a lot more quieter now too. I've always used zddp on flat tappet cams.
