I was kidding, but if you think 300 whp is fast enough for a daily we are not the same. My daily is about twice that.
I see you have a turbo hyabusa. You are in the 0.001% lol

I'm guessing you are talking about the supercharged merc in your stable. Thats quite a daily.

I daily a 100 hp 30 year old v6 pickup when I am not in the work truck. 300hp and that truck would plenty fast

If I go with the aus 62 # injectors which cost about $800 bucks do I need a hotter ignition like msd? I read these trucks do bad with aftermarket and do better with ac Delco stuff. Will it burn to rich?

How did you get mid 300s ? Na I been hearing even with a procharger it barely hits 300

Probably talking crank, not wheels.

Stock heads, intake and injectors is good for 400-425 hp at the crank. I was at 290 hp and 330 tq at the wheels through a 4L85E and 10.5" 14-bolt. 218/228 cam on a 112 LSA, 1.6 full roller rockers, Tri-Y headers and high flow cats. Idled almost stock.

Will need to tune the PCM for the injectors.

My ignition was and now is again DUI coil and module, aluminum body distributor from Rockauto and MSD cap and rotor with Taylor Thundervolt wires.

I was guessing the bagged dually in his avatar, LOL

I daily the Merc and an 07 classic crew cab 1500 Chevy. The Merc is about 580 to the wheels, it's fun. The turbo Busa is a track bike, and the dually is a cruiser toy. Both trucks are essentially stock motor, 5.3 and a 454 respectively.

Not reading this whole thread.... you need to get a set of dragon slayer brodix heads, 2.05/1.6 get the normal type intake pattern not vortec, use a low rise efi intake with individual injectors and a big throttle body. 0411 pcm will run it but a Holley terminator x will be a easier to tune set up. If using stock 0411 style pcm use a limited travel hyd roller cam and lifter set up. Talk to tuner on what size cam he has tuned. I'd say high .220s-.230ish duration at .050 on a 110° lobe separation on hyd roller. If you get terminator x stuff I'd run a small solid roller to make good power. It can be .250s duration at .050. Lift isn't as critical as the duration @.050 so I'd say below .550 on hyd and below .615 on solid. If tuned right has 700-900 hp range. Use arp head bolts and cometic MLS gaskets. If you have never ran head studs I wouldn't. They are a huge pain. If your tearing into it Main studs for sure and arp rod bolts. Factory pistons with some nice total seal rings that they recommend for boost will hold alot of hp.

Procharger would even love a 2.08 1.6 225cc brodix dragon slayer. More air the better. Now a na engine a 200 runner 2.02 1.6 is enough but not boosted. Factory heads would be short lived cause of the added heat. Cheap aluminum heads are crap aluminum almost like the 2.2 s10 head type aluminum

My chinese aluminum heads are anything but crap aluminum. Way better aluminum than what GM used on the crack prone LS heads.
