Has anybody had the Pro Comp 69 series rims paired with 285s? My truck is leveled and has the F44 package (which has four rear springs)+Z71 package. I just don't want to get the 285s and have rubbing issues then kick my self thinking I should have just stayed with the 265s. The 265s that came on the truck were not very old when I purchased the truck in November 2018, so they have at least 90-95% tread left. They are Cooper Discoverer AT3s, which are amazing. I saw Dick Cepek is having a sale on their tires (Trail Country EXP LT285/75R16s @ $152.00/each with a $100 rebate on a set of 4). I don't have a valence either, so that shouldn't be an issue. I will be mostly DD'ing it, should I just stick with the 265s or go to 285s?

Thanks!

LOL, no I made the thread for some reason cause I thought I was gonna do 285s, but then once I created the thread I thought, no, I need to stop convincing myself I need new tires when the ones I have are fine. Plus, since the rims have 4" backspacing, I think I would need lift the truck more than what it is now.

I've been in the market for 285's, where did you find that deal? I can only find them for $177.99 Each with the $100 rebate.

There is a tire shop that is about an hour from where I live that's getting new shipments of tires in and they are wanting to get rid of last year's stock. It's the lowest price they are asking for them, which is why I have been on and off about getting them. Like you said, it's a deal, which is why I am debating so much.
305/70r16 :deal:
That would be noice, but sadly they don't offer that size at the tire shop, but maybe they do, haven't called them yet.

I know you say you changed your mind but here's mine with the pro comp 69s and 285 bfg all terrains.

Do they rub at all when you turn? That looks mighty sexy tho.

That looks great! No lift? Just a little crank up front? I'm surprised they don't rub
