After holding the aftermarket replacement parts in my hand...I put my 300,000 mile OEM mounts back in, and returned all the aftermarket stuff to where I'd bought them. Don't think that I'm happy about that. But at least I didn't spend money for stuff that didn't fit, or was re-designed to be junk.
I did consider cutting the shells of the 2637 mounts open, and then using the new rubber cushion in my original shells. Then I figured if the fookin' Communists can't/won't make the steel shells properly, why would I think they built the rubber part right? Might be made of pencil-eraser rubber for all the Chinese care.
