How about the throttle body? Clean it thoroughly, perhaps drill out the rivets and remove the air diffuser...
Heater core? New engine, hoses, and radiator, but you didnt mention the HC.

After holding the aftermarket replacement parts in my hand...I put my 300,000 mile OEM mounts back in, and returned all the aftermarket stuff to where I'd bought them. Don't think that I'm happy about that. But at least I didn't spend money for stuff that didn't fit, or was re-designed to be junk.

I did consider cutting the shells of the 2637 mounts open, and then using the new rubber cushion in my original shells. Then I figured if the fookin' Communists can't/won't make the steel shells properly, why would I think they built the rubber part right? Might be made of pencil-eraser rubber for all the Chinese care.

I did tear the throttle body apart and cleaned all of the parts (that I could safely clean) and re-assembled it.

I haven’t messed with the throttle body in a few months, but I don’t remember there being an air diffuser... I may have identified it as something else, but I can remove it and gain more power I’m all for extra power!

I did have my heater core cleaned out and pressure tested when I took my radiator in. I had to get a new radiator (bent fins and cracked on one side), but my heater core was supposedly gunk-free.

I am re-using my mounts because they were so much better than what I could find online. But I have to get new rubber for my motor mounts because the old rubber literally crumbled as I took my motor mounts off. I will definitely have to look at how my stock mounts line up with my new bushings.

I had the time to put my motor mount bushings in today during my lunch break, and they fit perfectly! I’m glad that I didn’t have the problems that you had to work with. My motor mounts are ready to install as of today.

Apparently the V6 engines got a completely-different design of engine mount. Look at the difference between the V8 clamshell and your V6 clamshell. I don't understand why they're so different. Perhaps it's a 2WD vs. 4WD thing.

At least the V6 engines have an acceptable aftermarket mount. Far as I know, there's nothing for the V8-equipped vehicles except Communist Crap, and the too-big Poly insert.

If I ever lift my engine, I'm gonna try a pair of these inserts and see what happens. They're supposed to fit '88--95 K1500 and K2500 frames, (Clamshells) just "V6" only.

I could be talking out of my @$$ saying this, but I tear down engines at work, and the V8 small block and V6/4.3 Chevy engine use the same engine mount. The bolt pattern on the side of the block looks identical. I would bet that they are nearly interchangeable. The 4.3 is really a 350 minus two cylinders. My engine mount bushings came in a package that said that they were for a 2.6 V6 IIRC, but I called Energy Suspension and they said that the part number was interchangeable between all small block Chevy based engines.
