Hi-question to all 97 up tahoe/burb owners-how is the power supplied to the rear lights-is it fed from the same wire as the headlights or there's separate one for the back? I wanna fit some id lights(led) and I'm wondering if it will load the circuit too much if in future I put some cab over lights which I will most likely feed from the front ones somewhere. Or should I not worry about it as the load of total of 9 leds is negligable?
My vehivle is 99 tahoe z71.

The load of LEDs is a fraction of the load presented by an incandescent bulb. I wouldn't worry about it.

Here's a section from the 1998 service manual for you to peruse if you wish.
