WOW! did you pay for those? I've been avoiding those buttons because they have a $ before them, lol. If you did, are they a 1-time purchase or is it a yearly deal?

There's a lot of red flags in that initial report but then I saw engine coolant temp was only at 84F. I would get it up to op temp and run that report again.

The OBDLink MX+ gets everything free.
I did the PID add ons or something, I forget.

The tests were with the engine off. It told me that the tests can mess with the engine running and to turn it off.

Next time I plan to take it for a drive to test the gauges and tablet holder and then I'll rerun tests and see.
I wanted to post to see what others who have the knowledge will have to say!

Good to know, Thanks! I'll begin using those features now too.

Your going to want to get live data after it is warmed up. Those warnings have not effected my running engine with anything I have done yet. These are not tuners or programmers they can only read data but cannot change the PCM settings like HP Tuners or something.

As for reading data:
-on most engine MAF should not read lower than engine displacement (7.4l engine, not lower than 7.4g/s MAF)
-Long term fuel trim should be around +/- 5% on a happy engine
-Short term fuel trim should be as close to 0 as possible.
-downstream o2 sensors should read around .99 (I could be mistaken on this one, this is just from memory)
-upstream o2 should be data logged and fast response (very jumpy)
-TPS should not jump around when data logged, just nice smooth curves that follow your foot input.

Some scan tools/vehicle computers have a "Codes and Data" mode that screws with idle speed and perhaps other factors. There's a separate "Road Test--Codes and Data" mode that allows you to drive normally while getting access to the data stream.
You must be registered for see images attach

I forget the exact message but it said it was better to run the tests with the engine off. I'll try to reproduce it next time.

"Upstream" O2 sensors bounce between .1--.9, rapidly. "Downstream" sensors bounce much slower, and not to the extremes of voltage. They tend to be more towards the middle of the range--a little above middle, a little below middle. Middle being .45--.5.

I thought they had to be lean aka high after the cat to monitor their efficiency and they would throw a code if they dropped to low for too long.

The OBD II system monitors converter efficiency by comparing the upstream and downstream oxygen sensor signals. If the converter is doing its job and is reducing the pollutants in the exhaust, the downstream oxygen sensor should show little activity (few lean-to-rich transitions, which are also called "crosscounts"). The sensor's voltage reading should also be fairly steady (not changing up or down), and average 0.45 volts or higher.
You're more-correct than I was.

I just did some scans while my truck was running with the warning of effecting the vehicle with no difference in the truck. Here are some cold scans
