65 international pickup......awesome awesome awesome.

Primed and ready for an ultimate street rod build.

Edit*

wait a minute, are those front hubs?

What choice 4x4 build that would be.

Old binders are so limitless in possibilities.

Wish i'd never traded off my scout II.....

My daily driver with my project

1949 Willys Overland "Jeep Truck" (Jeep in quotations because on this particular model, there is nothing that says Jeep on the ID plate or anywhere on the vehicle, but in sales brochures and posters they were branded as Jeep Trucks).

L4-134 (L-head 4 cylinder 134ci), Borg Warner T90 3-speed (on the floor), Timken 51540 1-ton rear diff with 5.38 gear ratio. All original except the numbers on the motor, which came out of a 1943 Willys MB. This truck is a very rare 1-ton 2wd. Not especially desirable as everyone wants 4x4s.

Rated at 63 crank horsepower at 4000 rpm IIRC. I think at 4k that old L-head would be about ready to jump out of the truck.

Been a project for a few years now. Pretty much stuck at the moment.

Hideous, just hideous.

Rolls would NEVER let something like that get off the drawing board let alone off the production line.....

Kind of reminds me of a stutz for some reason:

Here's a better shot of the two of them. Was working in the garage today so had to pull both up my driveway...

Like the Vette wheels on that black truck! It and the GTO are both super sharp
