My buddy was bored so he decided to detail my truck and the polished the band. Imo I love it.

You should see @kennythewelder ' s truck album pictures. He polished his tailgate strip(and pretty much anything else aluminum on the truck). Looks gorgeous!
I think LMC or somebody else does. You can also mask and repaint, semi gloss black is what GM used. An Xacto knife and a few extra #11 blades will be helpful with this process.

Sometimes I wish I went with a 3/5 instead of the 2/4 tbh but I'll do it on my next truck

I am horrible at masking anything off, lol. I will look into it though.

Just be patient and take your time with it. That's how I approach anything like that (especially if sharp stainless steel may be involved! ). BTW what part of Houston are you in? I'm by the Astrodome. Burb still gets worked on in Stafford so that's why I haven't changed it....

Looks great how it is. Too low, and it looks cool, but ya can't drive it anywhere......I'm thinking about a 2/4 on the Burb eventually.
