Please help body lift removal issue

1998 Chevy k1500 standard cab short bed. Im taking off the 3" body lift and i have taken all aftermarket brackets off and have lowered the cab body down but the front cab bushings have about a 1" gap until its touching the body. Its almost as if the body is catching or hung up somewhere near the transmission but I haven't been able to find anything. Any ideas what my issue could be?

Did you yank the bushings from under the core support?

are you referring to the radiator core? if so then no because i wasnt sure if anything was changed from stock when the kit was put on, i'll check that out today

found another issue, my frame is twisted to all hell haha, so even with those off its a little off still but oh well

Mine too on the 1500. I think the truck got rear ended on one side. Box sits higher on one side than the other.
