Sweet build. Quite a little overlander you're building. Please don't beeline it! (Until you have to after a few years of trashing the paint. Just looks so clean and unique as is.
I guess I wasn’t clear. No I will never bedline the truck itself I was just speaking about the transmission tunnel. Nah I’ll wear scars and dents but this truck will never have bedline for paint. Lol thanks for the concern though. I appreciate the kind words.

Everything tucked up like I wanted it. All of the lower strike areas of the skid plate are 3/8 inch. Inner triangles are then I double the 3/16 angles. The transfer case is still supported with the .120 wall DOM.
As long as I can keep from bouncing my rig I think I can keep the NP208 alive long enough to save for the atlas case.

I’ve been focused on working instead of posting I guess. She’s pretty close to going. Redid all of the exhaust so it can be removed without pulling any of the drivetrain. It’s basically ready to go but I have some driveline vibration up at the transfer case output.

Shifter linkage works really well I need a new boot because of the travel on it. The boot causes everything to bind up.

Well nothing more to post really as far as pictures but I do have an update the truck is ready for inspection. I had everything working as far as the lights go but I did not have the front right indicator. I had all other lights hazards brakes markers yada yada. I dug into the loom and bupkis kept digging all the way to the firewall and still nothing. Got to below the column and found the Dark Blue wire that is designated for it and found the purple wires that go to the right rear since they were working. Pulled the harness apart and the dark blue wire was pinned wrong in a dead spot. it wasn't loose it was in stock looking form with no wear on the terminal end. It really makes me curious if this things has been this way since the factory LOL.
The only thing I have left to fix is the speedometer. The purple and yellow twisted pair wires that use a magneto pickup from the factory 2wd 700r4 are still there. Purple is high speed from what I can tell and yellow is low speed. These wires go directly to the cluster and supply signal/pickup from what I can tell and back feed to the ECM through a brown wire with red stripe on A10. The VSS switch I bought from Howell is the 2000 pulse per mile and their instructions state to put the red wire "from the VSS mounted on the speedo gear in the transfer case directly to the ECM A10 location then the black wire directly to ground. I have tried literally everything I can think of and I can still not get my speedometer to operate.
The speedometer worked well before and tach read 2400 RPM at 65MPH in drive. With the new combination I will have 35 inch tires and tach should read 2500 RPM at 65 MPH so I do not think there will be an issue with the DRAC once I get it to work. If anyone has any input i could really use the help in getting the speedometer issue sorted.
I will hopefully have the new 35s mounted next week. I will have to get a new driveshaft and have a place sorted whenever I get the inspection completed and a new windshield.

I was able to trim the fenders and the bumper today. Pretty pleased with the clearance and should clear the 35s full stuffed and locked. Tires will be here Friday.
Mounted the tach also and ran all of the wires but still have to terminate everything. Did all of that after helping a buddy weld an exhaust he said was going to take 5 min. You know how that goes 3hrs later we got it done. That’s ok he’s one that will definitely show up to my funeral so he’s good.
I’m gonna dig into the wire diagram and find good spots to put all of the tach wires over a strong beverage and hopefully wrap up some stuff tomorrow.

Loving that droop in the first pic man! Although those jack stands lol
Ran outta room making sure I don’t die. Front right tire still had some more to go before it was off the ground. It’s got good movement.

New tars come in today. They seem the correct size and I think they will work well. It’ll pass inspection now but of course since it’s down I’m doing a bunch of cleanup work on wiring and cleaning all of the dirt dobbers out of all the crevices.
I have some resistors coming in so I can finish a trouble tree in the manual and crossed fingers get the speedo to work properly.
