Rack is fully welded and some paint thrown on. I dig the fitment of the awning. The awning can switch side to side easily depending where it may be needed.
I will powder coat or professional bed line the rack eventually.
Roof top tent is mounted to the removable center section. Hopefully this week can open everything and see what all is good and what needs adjustment.

I plan to utilize something like this for the hitch on the bed rack. Mama and I love to go surf fishing. We will be able to pull up to the water camp fish and have plenty of shade.

Sorry to all. I had to take a break from my ride for a bit. Life showed up and had me drinking from a fire hydrant. I started to install the shim and my bell housing cracked. So I tore everything out and cut a big ass hole in the floor board to gain clearance and correct the angle on the transmission. So far so good but with the now “custom” hole I needed to fab up a cover.

Here is the panel so far. I need to either vinyl it spray paint/bed line or powder coat. I put weather strip on the bottom so it seals up nicely. I have boots for the trans and case stick. I will be able to hammer on it for a bit so hopefully I can get some progress done and updates for y’all.

I messed around enough Saturday and Sunday to figure out that I am going to bedline it. I will start filling in all the low areas with bondo so it is not as rough then hit it with some turntable bedliner. I was able to gab these up while contemplating everything.

Sweet build. Quite a little overlander you're building. Please don't beeline it! (Until you have to after a few years of trashing the paint. Just looks so clean and unique as is.

After cutting the floor board to make more ground clearance everything that needs adjustment follows along afterward. I had to reconfigure the transmission crossmember and the exhaust. I wanted to route the exhaust to tuck underneath the skid plate and keep everything nice. So far so good. Pics look kinda bad but the outcome is what I desired.
