Bent the hell out of the left side exhaust exit. I rerouted everything and put some small tips on. Sounds better and doesn’t drone. Super pleased and hopefully no more smashed exhaust.

I have about 90% of what I need for the LS swap. I’m down to motor mounts and a fuel pump. I’m on the fence as to go with a 255 or a 340 pump. Should I stick with a tried and true walbro 255 or go with the Aeromotive 340 pump.
I also found this little gem to go behind the LS. It’s an early style nv4500. It is 2wd but I think I can rebuild and convert it easy enough considering what I paid for it. Worse case scenario keep the SM. But hopefully soon I can start throwing the 6.0 together and running on the stand.

I’ve finally finished up the torque arm I’ve been putting off forever. I have to team out the holes at the axle but should be good after that. I was having issues with finding 14mm or 9/16 hardware. I stepped the rear up to 5/8ths and should be in business tonight. I will get some flex pics and show how it travels for anyone wanting to tackle something like this.

I’ll try and get some flexed pics but in the driveway there seems to be no binding. Running at highway speed and in between it seemed to help in every way possible. I was kinda surprised to be honest. Highly recommend doing the mod.

Motor was pretty cakey but cleaned up with a little sea foam on top. I’m sure the oil rings are gonna be full of the same stuff. None of the lifters were staying in the retainers. So instead of rolling the motor upside down it was worth pulling the heads and fapping the rings for boost. That was my reasoning anyway. I will be tossing everything into this little red guy and I’ll start a build page probably by summer. I need some votes on this dang hood. I hate it for now but I’ve not seent another one. Y’all let me know what you think. I definitely don’t want a cowl on it.
After the motor is together hopefully this weekend it’ll be ram by a terminator x stand alone. There is no harness from firewall forward so I’ll be building a wire harness from scratch.
