I like shinny paint personally.
Even though matte if becoming popular.
Whenever I repaint a car I'm thinking like doing flake as a paint job personally. I like the way the flake turned out on the silver part of my truck if I had the money to repay the whole truck I would probably do the stock scheme but with flake.
Sseing the electric Kia ev6 and reading on caring for the paint matte paint seem like a pain.
Well also to me it see like it took almost 100 years for paint companies to make paint shinny with the base clear combo.

don't see a question, but, matte is very difficult to care for.
You cannot rub it with anything, including using your finger or extra scrubbing when washing.
Mazda had owners sign an agreement when purchasing so they understood.
It will also kill alot of the effect of metallic, micas, pearls and "flake".
