Love the truck! I have a 96 just like it but white. W/T version. 4.3 5 spd I got real lucky and found an exceptionally clean one up here in Minnesota. I’ve put a ton of work to it since I’ve got it fixing all the little dumb things from poor maintenance over the years. Clutch slave cylinder, brakes, alternator, u-joints, ball joints, tail shaft bushing on the trans, front bearings and seals, rear end bearings and seals, and replaced all the lights and headlights with leds and I still got a ways to go. But the body is near spotless except the bottom of one front fender. I found a set of rally’s and took off the 19’s that were on the truck and I’m looking for a set of those same center caps with the 3 bar spinners. If anyone out there has some that doesn’t want a fortune like everyone else I’ve seen I’d love to put them to good use. I’ll post up a pick of my truck in a bit. My 19’s will be for sale as soon as I get the other tires on my rally’s if anyone is interested.

Just got the 4/6 DJM drop kit in last weekend. The rear leaf springs took me almost half the day to get out! Those 30 year old spring bolts would NOT come out of the spring bushings! But over all, the rest went smooth!

We ended up sanding down the entire rear section of the frame when we got done and painted it with black rubberized undercoating but I forgot to take pictures

What kind of attachment did you use for sanding?

We used a heavy wire wheel, wiped the frame down with acetone and then sprayed it with 3 coats of undercoating
