Hey guys. How do you remove the oil pan on a 1997 c1500 2wd 350? I have to replace the oil pump and gasket. I have the most hell trying to get it off. Thanks in advance!

Pull the motor mount bolts and lift the engine with a lifting sling. Pay attention to the distributor cap and make sure that you don't break it.

If your stuck in a hard spot and use a Jack to Jack the motor up be careful. I jacked up the harmonic balanced and am wondering if it's where my recent engine noise is from.

Ouch... yes, definitely do not jack up on the balancer. That's how crank snouts get bent/broken.
