I’m sure this has probably been brought up before but has anyone used one and if so, are the worth it?

I have a 98 k1500 350 so I’m just curious to see if there is any real benefit to having one. TIA

My '97s have been doing just fine without them for about 22 years. On a fresh race engine rebuild (EDIT - Or if you're adding forced induction) I could see why you might want one. On a 20+ year old truck engine that probably already has a ton of carbon build up on the back side of the valves, I have no idea why you'd bother.

Total waste of time, money, effort, and enthusiasm that could be better put to use figuring out why (or IF) you have excessive blow-by.
