Odd sound/no clutch engagement after master/slave cylinder replacement

    So I broke the rod on my factory clutch master cylinder and ended up replacing the master and slave with a one piece prebled kit. I also upgraded to a gear reduction starter and the required bolts for it. Put everything back together, clutch pedal feels amazing. Nice and firm. Started truck and immediately it was making a really loud knocking sound. Pushing the clutch in quiets it down by like 95% but it's still there. Put it in first and tried to move and the truck didn't go anywhere. Same with reverse. I know pulling the trans is inevitable but I'd like some opinions or things to look for while I'm in there.     did you put the clutch disc in backwards?

    I didn't touch the clutch or anything internal to the trans.
