OBS front end on a NBS? Reasonably possible?

Hey y'all, just wondering if this is something that's been done before. I've seen pictures of NBS front ends on the older trucks, but am having difficulty finding examples of opposite. I've got an '03 Silverado right now, and I don't mind it, but I HATE the look of the front bumper and the weird looking grille!

So I got to thinking, wouldn't it be something to swap the front end for the older style? Likely I'd source parts from a local salvage yard.

This was my old truck, I kind of want to recreate it. I need get some fender flares first, and deal with the hideous neapolitan-tri-layer bumper.

Interesting idea. I have thought about newer frame and drivetrain under 2 door yukon. I think your idea will be less heavy lifting yet more body labor to make lines match up and will give you the newer interior design.
