Nv3500 to nvg 5l60m

Hey everyone

I have a 1993 crab 4x4 z71truck with a 4.3 and an nv3500, for the life of me I cannot find an nv3500 and the prices for the nv4500 are rediculious 1500+ I found a guy parting out a 1991 truck with what I’m assuming is an nvg 5l60m will I run into any problems with this swap or is it fairly straight forward?

keep the standard... the single rail 3500's are pretty easy to rebuild... My 4L80 is going out on me.. and I'm swapping it to an NV 4500.. btw.. nice truck.. very similar looking to mine.. except color plus I threw all 2500HD drive line into it... and a 454

The swap would be the same. They are essentially the same externally however as ddaxe said, the single rail 3500s are better than the 5lm60.
