You must not be understanding what I'm saying and making nothing but snarky comments towards me as if I'm a hack and don't know I'm doing. My scan tool reads the cam retard offset at 1700 degrees, and reads the engine rpm at 12000 rpm at idle. It is impossible for me to set cam retard offset between -2 and 2 degrees if I can't get an accurate reading.
Exactly best of luck. Sir

Works on another vehicle, what Vehicle, VW, Bugatti, Mercedes?
Scanner said change part, changed part.
If the readings are so far off, why is it idling normally?
Did you reference anything in the OE service manual for any of the codes?
Your troubleshooting seems to hit and miss, what is your starting point? Your choices seemed arbitrary.....
If you can't stand a few darts thrown your way, because you screwed up or didn't, roll with it. Small price to pay if it gets you on the road. Or not. Choose wisely. Good luck.
