Some clarification on the springs, the 4+1's are for "light duty" 2500's, in other words a 6 lug 2500, 7200 gvwr. The 8 lug 2500's have a 5+1 pack.

As far as the OEM springs go, the 7200lb 2500's have a very slightly heavier pack than a 1500 with the F44 suspension. Both are 4+1 but the overload leaf on the 2500 is a little bit longer and slightly thicker.

An inexpensive upgrade would be the OEM springs from one of those 7200 lb 2500's but of course if anyone has ever treated it like a real 2500 the springs might be worn/damaged. How much specific lift vs. a 1500 3+1 pack? Dunno...a little bit but not extreme. I've installed these springs on a couple people's trucks that had sagging 3+1 packs.

This^^

I meant to mention the Husky 22795 was the same spring rating as the 91 light K2500 I had. I bought the truck in 93 from the dealer with 10K on it--it was the dealer's personal/demo truck. He mentioned the light 2500's were intended to be "pullers" to pull a boat, 2-horse trailer, or a small/medium travel trailer, ect. The 195hp TBI wasn't really up to ***** for pulling much more than 3k lbs in Colorado though......

Wish I had the axle, driveshaft and brakes from that 93 to put on my 96 K1500.

As I mentioned the rear springs were sagging a fair amount on my 96 K1500, the 4/1 spring pack lifted the rear quite a bit. In a perfect world the rear of the truck could sit about a 1/2" lower to make it level, but I throw enough backcountry gear in the back that it levels things out on most occasions.
