Hello fellow late model owners. I’m new here from Montana. Just scored my first truck an wanted to share. 89 gmc K1500 5 spd. I plan on doing some changes or modifications in the near future. Any advise is welcome

Just as a quickie fix, appearance-wise, rattle can those frame rails.
Plasti-coat 'HotRod Black'. It's not a flat but it ain't really shiny either.
Black makes things disappear.

Thanks a lot. I already have plans for that as I am a painter in my day job. The previous owner had already worked it down some an the surface rust but never completed

Idk if this is the proper place to post this as I am a newbie. But I achieved some aesthetic goals today. My bezel was a little scuffed up and worn out looking so I added some life back in it with two coats of primer an 3 coats black.
