I have been a member for years over at GM-Trucks.com, but sold my 2008 GMC HD back in September to save for my wedding. I went back to my roots and purchased a 1998 K2500 4x4 454 Vortec as my DD and for use around the family farm. The first truck I ever drove when I was a little kid was my grandfather's 98 GMC K2500, and my first truck was a 1995 K1500 ext cab, always loved the GMT 400's.

Anyway, the truck has 116K on it, I put new oil cooler lines and gaskets in the oil filter adapter housing, this next week I'm doing tie rods, idler assembly and idler, and pitman arm. Once all the wedding stuff is paid for I have GMT 800 polished HD rims to throw on and I'll be wrapping them with Cooper AT/3's. Pictures are of the '98 and one of the '08 I just sold. I also installed the new headlights, parking lights, and corners, the toolbox, and the tint.

Nice truck, real clean looking. More pics are in order, me thinks lol. You got any plans for it?

Thanks bud. Yeah, I know... I just snapped a couple in the parking lot at work on my morning break. When I get it cleaned up come spring I'll post more, I'm kind of OCD about showing it dirty. Not many plans other than drive the hell out of it. Like I said in my first post, I have polished aluminum GM 8 lugs that are in the garage and they will get wrapped with Cooper at3's come spring/summer. Other than than I'll just be replacing parts as need be.

Good looking truck! I traded my 98 k2500 7.4 rclb for my 98 gmc k2500 eclb this summer.

PYO wheels really spruce these trucks up.

Thanks man! I do miss the EC but I couldn't pass on this truck. I drove two hours into Michigan to get it, almost no rust whatsoever on it. With GMT 400's around here that is unheard of unless it has been restored. I'm still getting used to the big block and how the RPM range feels. I have had all small blocks and most have been tuned to run 6 grand religiously. This truck doesn't need to run RPM's like that to get moving so my foot has been confused haha.
