Are you going to have the 4l60e beefed up or otherwise, go to a 4l80e? What gears are you gonna run? How about your exhaust? What intake manifold? It's gotta breathe.

Personally I would go with a 4L80E instead of the 4L60E. I know there are people who swear by them but my experiences with 4L60Es have been less than spectacular to say the least.

Definitely agree with getting a 4l80E for that 6.0l.

4L80E would be about as worry free as you could get on the trans. If you are putting money into the 4L60, I'd reconsider that and just upgrade to the 80. If the 60 is already built, then run with it until it breaks to save some coin.

The other part I'd question would be the rear axle. I'm not well versed on the different rear axles these trucks came with, but my gut says a RCSB truck would have a rather small axle. Upping the gears to 3.73 and dropping the hammer a few times on that built 6.0 will quickly show where the weak points are...

Just my $0.02. Sounds like a fun build for a street truck though. My dream is a 5.3 with a small turbo running through a 4L80.
