Finished welding the mounts on the bed for the frame, pulled it out today.

Definitely going to power wash the chassis and give it a coat of rust converter, next.

Also considering a 6" lift.

I hate to even chance cursing it by asking - but why do you suppose that the 4l80 is holding up in this truck, but wasn't in your gmt400?

I'd reckon it was the variable 200-350hp difference between the two trucks.

That and one is a work truck, the other is a race car. They're treated waaaay differently on how their driven.

Went ahead and added yet another new backup camera and a curt 2.5" to 2" receiver reducer to the truck.

She's ready to tow!

One Fifty freaking dollar flasher relay later, we now have non-fast flashing turn signals.

You'd figure for the cost of that bed, they'd have resistors in the lamps.
