The truck had sat up about e years it has. A Lil more than 200,000 miles but wheen I got it it had sat a ND. Had bad gas iinvit so I drain the tank and replenished with fresh gas it ran for. A day and I started too smell gas strong ii turn it off noow it won't start it spins. Over starts to crank and dies

Where is the gas smell coming from? If it has a large leak in a supply line it may be starving for fuel causing the no start condition. Or could be flooding if the injectors are leaking
